Sarayu Mini Biography

Sarayu is an Indian film actress who appears in Malayalam films. She made her debut in the movie Kappal Muthalaali, which was released in 2009. Even though the film was an average entertainer, she was noted for her performance in the film.

Film career

Sarayu started her career by doing minor roles in movies like Chakkara Muthu and Veruthe Oru Bharya. Her debut movie in a lead role was Kappal Muthalaali directed by Thaha. Her next movie was Chekavar, in whch she played the protogonist Gauri. She paired with Bala in Sahasram, and in Four friends with Kunjakko boban. She played a negative character in Fourfriends. She also appeared in Kanyakumari Express by TS Sureshbabu and Inganeyum oraal. Karayilekkoru kadal dhooram was the movie in which she acted as Indrajith's wife. she did a guest appearance in Orkut oru ormakoot with Siddique.In Janapriyan alongside Jayasurya, Bhama and Manoj K Jayan, she played the role of Revathi which was a notable character.In Nadakame ulakam, directed by Viji thampi she acted with Mukesh. She had done a major role in Nidra, a directional venture of Sidharth Bharathan. Nidra was the latest movie of her released. And now she is in the works of Husbands in Goa, alongside Asif Ali, Jayasurya and Indrajith and Thomson Villa alongside Ananya. She have recently done a guest role in Housefull, directed by Linson Antony.Meanwhile, she also stepped into Tamil through a movie directed by cameraman Madhu Ambatt, shooting of which is in progress

Personal life

Sarayu Mohan did her high schooling in Ernakulam and did her graduation on BA Literature at Maharajas College, Ernakulam. She is currently doing her post graduate degree in Literature from Annamalai University. She is also a dancer and is the only child of her parents. Currently they are based in Ernakulam.
